In January, after about 8 months of searching an E46 M3 to purchase… my wife made me settle on this $5000 E36 M3 that has lots of issues, because she prefers the boxy shape. I also purchased a 1991 Porsche 944 S2 that is literally perfect inside and out. The BMW needs everything. The Porsche needs nothing… so far. Don’t worry, I still have my 2017 Shelby GT350. I’m not sure I’ll ever sell that one.

Here’s a post-accident photo. Terrible. Such a wonderful car. It’s even more brilliant for saving two lives with nothing more than bruising from the seatbelts, and some minor burn marks on the wrist of the driver from the airbag deploying. The owner told me he saw the headlights coming to his left and slammed on the brakes at the last second. Good brakes save lives. He said he closed his eyes and just knew he was going to die. The only reason he eventually opened them was because his passenger was screaming that she couldn’t open the door and smelled smoke.

Luckily the current owner and his passenger were fine. No issues, just a few bruises from the seatbelts and a slight burn on the owner’s wrists from the airbag being deployed. I’ll forever miss this car I called Ali.
