If you have the time, sit still and listen to my soothing voice tell you about the 2018 Mazda3 hatchback.

Keep in mind, this is a new format I’m trying. Instead of being a talking head driving the car, I’m a talking head in front of some computer monitors. I’ve decided I want to try this instead, because I always felt like I was entirely too wordy and rambled a lot when I did in-car stuff.

Also, I apologize about the lighting. I had my camera monitor on a different setting that wasn’t displaying what my exposure looked like. I had my windows open, and studio lights on me at the same time. That’s why everything looks so blown out, forcing me to use various fonts and colors when displaying text.

Some of the footage was shot by me with a GH5 using the Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8, as well as the 7-14mm f/4.

The in-studio portion was filmed with the GH5 using the same 12-25mm f/2.8 lens, a SmallHD Focus monitor, Sennheiser MKE600 microphone above my head. The Sennheiser was plugged into the Panasonic XLR1 audio adapter.

You can view all of the gear I own and use on my Kit page.
