Turner Motorsport have become a modern stay in BMW racing, as well as in the aftermarket and OEM industry. When it comes down to it, they have one of the largest cult followings of any racing team out there currently.
At Road America today they’ll be working towards success with Paul Dalla Lana behind the wheel of the No. 94 BMW M3 with Bill Auberlen. Dalla Lana put the car on the second spot in qualifying yesterday for today’s VisitFlorida.com 250 race.
Turner Motorsport have two M3s on the grid, the No. 93 piloted by Michael Marsall and Maxime Martin, and the aforementioned 94 car.

Paul Dalla Lana career best P2 Qualifying in Turner BMW M3.
Paul Dalla Lana qualified P2 this morning at Road America for the VisitFlorida.com 250 tomorrow. Dalla Lana narrowly missed pole position by .051 seconds with a 2:11.234 behind the Ferrari of Leh Keen. This marks Paul Dalla Lana’s career best qualifying result with Turner Motorsport. The result comes just minutes after qualifying the Turner Motorsport No. 96 Continental Tire Sport Car Challenge GS M3 P12. Dalla Lana was fastest in the morning’s Trueman/Akin session with a 2:11.173, his fastest career lap at Road America.
Michael Marsal qualified his No. 93 GT M3 P8 with 2:13.506 shaving more than two seconds off his previous day’s practice times in the Turner BMW. This was Marsal’s first time qualifying in GT at Road America. Both Marsal and Dalla Lana will be sharing their BMWs with Factory drivers for the VisitFlorida.com 250 tomorrow. The familiar driver pair of Auberlen and Dalla Lana will drive the No. 94 and Marsal and Martin will pilot the No. 93.
The Continental Tire Challenge race is scheduled to start at 1:30pm ET but will be tape delayed on SPEED for broadcast on August 17th on Fox Sports 2. The VisitFlorida.com 250 will be televised LIVE on SPEED at 5:00pm ET.
