We recently had the delight of testing the new 2013 Scion FR-S, somewhat to exhaustion. Why exhaustion? Because Scion decided I needed it for 3 weeks, and the car was exhausted from me driving it so much.
Now while we’re finishing up our text and video reviews of the 2013 Scion FR-S, we decided to see what the FR-S would be like against my personal 997.1 911 C2S. You see, the Toyobaru was designed with the Porsche Cayman in mind, and I think they nailed that connection. However, I don’t have a Cayman…
Instead we decided to see what the Scion FR-S was like on back roads in comparison to a faster and more powerful high-end performance car. Even with the Boxer flat-4 making 200 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque, I think the Scion handled itself quite well.
