audi-rs5-brochure-05The Audi RS5 has been long awaited by anyone who enjoys the S5. Which just so happens to be pretty much everyone on the face of the earth. And now we have confirmation that it’ll be released at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

Thanks to AUSmotive, we now have 28 brochure images of the new RS5. Of those pictures, we have no real information about the upcoming M3 fighter. All we can speculate is that it may have about 450hp or so with the same 4.2L V8 that comes standard in the R8 V8 and what came in the RS4.

As said before, the RS4 had the Audi famous 4.2-liter V8 making 420hp and 317lb-ft of torque. While that was a lot, the RS4 had some serious competition when the new E9x series M3 came out with 414hp and 295lb-ft of torque, and the same goes for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG with 451hp and 443lb-ft of torque. All three cars were able to pull off 0-60 times in the low 4-second range, with the Mercedes occasionally reaching 3.9 seconds. But Audi dropped the RS4 and preferred to work on other cars, and now we’ll finally get the coupe sports car that Audi has always needed to bring its fans.

Horsepower estimates are around 450hp and 325lb-ft of torque. So imagine this new all-wheel driver to not be anything less than a wicked beast.

All that is pictured below is a shot of the DSG gearbox, with no photos of a manual. Please, Audi, don’t let this be just an automatic baby supercar. We just can’t have that…
