ZR1vsLP670

Ever wondered what the new LP670-4 Super Veloce would look like with a big American supercharged V8 supercar chasing it? Me either, but AutoCar decided to take a look anyway.

The Corvette ZR1 is the new bad ass on the exotic block. It does well with its supercharged 6.2L V8 putting out 638hp alongside 604lb-ft of torque. 0-60 will come up in around 3-sec, while flat out you’ll tick 207mph.

The Lamborghini LP670-4 SV is a different animal, though. First off, it’s Italian. This purebred has a normally aspirated 6.5L V12 that gets along alright with 670hp and 438lb-ft of torque. Once again, 0-60 will fly by you at about 3-seconds. With a long bit of tarmac you’ll hit either 212mph with the smaller spoiler or 209mph with the “big wing”. Decisions, decisions… The Lambo also does have a slight advantage with its all-wheel drive system.

If you’re wondering how things go, just watch the video below. It is quite funny to see Lamborghini’s current chief test driver, Max Venturi, going up against an automotive journalist.

Enjoy!
