If you’re an avid fan of Fifth Gear, like me, you surely understand that amount of ability that Jason Plato and Tiff Needell have every time they step into a car. The two have shared successful careers, as well.
Jason Plato, fresh in a Chevrolet Lacetti for this year’s British Touring Car Championship, is leading the race at Brands Hatch when, suddenly, the BMW of Jonathan Adams was doing something other than paying attention to what corner he was going into, because he uses Jason as a brake. He plants his front-end into Plato’s rear-end, knocking off his rear bumper, and sending Plato into a full-on drift worthy of any Fast and Furious movie, recovering perfectly. This is a move that would make Tanner Foust drool…
Jason Plato was put into second place, but after the race the stewards penalized Smith 4 seconds making Plato the official winner.
