The 2013 Ford Escape EcoBoost Titanium AWD is the light SUV/crossover that everyone needs to take a look at. If you’re looking at buying a premium luxury car with loads of technology and features, take a stop by and see this car first.
“Why should anyone see the 2013 Ford Escape when they’re on their way to view a BMW, Mercedes-Benz or an Audi?”, you might ask. Well, simple… because the Escape is a pretty great little SUV for under $40,000. ($34,735 to be exact.)
The options list was pretty extensive for the 2013 Ford Escape in Titanium trim with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo inline-4. The EcoBoost motor helps the Escape to produce 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque (on premium gas), which makes the Escape 2.0-liter EcoBoost good for 21 mpg city and 28 mpg highway for the all-wheel drive model I had (22/30 for FWD). All this, and the Escape only weighs 3,732 lbs in this trim with options. That’s pretty light for a crossover of this size and ability.
