This is the moment we’ve been waiting for, well, a really long time. While NBC got off the pot, History Channel took the show and has now done something with it. Top Gear U.S.A. is really official; it now has a trailer!
In this trailer it shows a few of the cars that are being tested, including the Viper SRT10, Lamborghini LP550-2 Balboni, LP670-4 SV, Morgan Aero Supersports, Porsche Panamera, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, among others.
One part of the show you really see is what I’d expect to be the first episode, which is, in true Top Gear flair, a challenge! This one has to do with moonshine runnin’, which is where NASCAR gets its roots. NASCAR, is of course host Rutledge Wood’s professional forte. Tanner Foust is, obviously, the racing driver. And Adam Ferrara is the comedy specialist, but still a classic American car guy. But to continue: The challenge is set for them to buy cars for less than $1,000 and drive them in different ways to see how fast they can run moonshine. It seems quite entertaining and interesting, so take a look at the video below.
