The 2010 Chicago Auto Show played host to the official reveal of the 2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, in all its 550hp glory. God, 550hp in a Mustang with a 3.73 rear axle ratio, LSD, Goodyear SuperCar tires, upgraded suspension, and all of the other amazing things that Ford has done to this car, makes me have unnatural thoughts. Is that rubber I smell burning?
Anyway… I unfortunately couldn’t be at the show, but my colleague and friend Horatiu Boeriu, owner and editor of BMWBLOG was there and snapped a few shots of the 2011 monster mean muggin’ on the show floor. I love the black with red racing stripes. I personally would probably order mine in black with the black satin stripes, as I enjoy the prowling type look and appeal.
