Even though Ford didn’t actually release these pictures, yet, some folks around the interwebz wanted us to have them before the official embargo is over and done with on Monday, the 28th.
As I’ve posted before (here and here), the new 2011 Mustang GT will have a 5.0-liter V8 motor making 412hp and 390lb-ft of torque. The all aluminum motor also has some new goodies. Hell, just look at the picture to see that! As noted before, the new 5.0 gets the 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission and the MT82 6-speed manual gearbox.
I can already see Santa sitting behind the wheel of the new 5.0L GT and whooping the asses of the Tooth Fairy in his white SS Camaro and the Easter Bunny in his purple Challenger… Okay, maybe that was taking it a little bit far. It’s Christmas, so I’m trying to be festive.
